Expansion #7 - Fantastiqal Landscapes

Alf Seegert describes the expansion: "From Fantastiqa's inception I had hoped to make use of multiple Gem colors in a fun set-collection mechanic. In preparation for such a mechanic, Rick and Gryphon Games made sure to offer 6 unique colors of Gems in the game. But no matter how hard I worked, this mechanic never quite came together (even though Fantastiqa still came with multi-colored Gems). This was also true of an "Epic Quest" involving all six Regions which I could never get to work right. To my surprise and delight, Games of Art has catalyzed development of both these ideas -- along with others -- culminating in FANTASTIQAL LANDSCAPES, a vast new Expansion Set containing three interlocking expansions."
