Description
In Dark Minions players represent the forces of evil as they try to pillage and destroy towns.
On their turn a player will roll the number and type of dice equal to their level. These dice may then be used to perform three basic functions (and one extra function in the advanced game). Players may use dice to place Minions on town tiles, they may use them to claim towers, and they may use them to re-spawn minions from the graveyard.
Players are racing to achieve the required number of Vanquish Points (VPs) to end the game. VPs are awarded for the sacking of towns, for VP tiles won, for a players experience level, and for any skulls unspent at the end of the game.
The advanced game introduces Overlords, which are special cards that modify the game rules in different ways and provide those players that gain them access to special powers that can mean a vital difference between those who are truly evil and those who are merely bad.
Dark Minions also includes a small expansion called Demon Lords, that adds some extra Overlords, a special town tile and a special die - making for some ways to really mix up the game play
