Buru: Standard Edition

You are a noble of the 14th century Majapahit empire, which presides over the Indonesian archipelago. By order of the king, you travel to the remote island of Būrū to form a diplomatic alliance. Your explorers survey the land, parley with islanders, and honor revered spirts to win the esteem of the islanders, and the game.

  • Send Explorers with secret Power values into four regions of Būrū. Outbid your opponents for the best actions in each region.

  • Pay Tribute to the spirits of Buru to earn the Esteem of the Islanders. The player with the most Esteem becomes the Ambassador to Būrū!
