Frozen Expanse: Realm of Frost Giants map pack can be played with either Cartographers: A Roll Player Tale or Cartographers Heroes.
New mechanic: Frozen lakes and scouted spaces. A frozen lake is depicted on each map sheet, and when surrounded by filled terrain, unlocks bonus coins.
Some map squares are subtly pre-filled with a terrain type, representing scouted areas. These spaces can only be filled with terrain of the indicated type. Bonus reputation is scored for filling scouted areas by the end of summer and winter.
Components include 75 double-sided map sheets and 2 monster ambush cards and 1 hero card. **NOTE** The Hero card is only compatible with Cartographers Heroes.
