Nusfjord is a tranquil fishing village in Lofoten, an island chain in northern Norway. 50 years ago there was a lot going on when the cod came to spawn. Today the place has less than 100 inhabitants and presents itself as a museum village. If you realize that you pay admission just to see the houses, you can imagine how picturesque it is there. Cruise ships travel along the coasts of the elongated, largely deserted island world.
