Description
HONOR THE DRAGONS
Ancient Eastern Dragons were originally considered beautiful, friendly, and wise. Instead of being feared as were western dragons of legend, they are loved and worshiped. Temples and shrines have been built to honor them, for they control the rain, rivers, lakes, and seas. To ensure a good harvest, citizens would ask the Dragons to watch over their crops and they would decorate their boats with ornate Dragon carvings. Early traditions also often include mention of The Four Seas, four bodies of water metaphorically marking the boundaries of ancient China, for each of the four cardinal directions.
Honor Your Ancestors
In Dragon Boats of the Four Seas you’ll become the head of a noble household and be in position to help expand your family’s reach. Be smart with your money in the market, gaining the necessary offerings for safe passage on the dragon boats to cross the four seas. Once you have reached the different lands, and/or decided to send some meeples up the mountain – it is time to settle new farms and monasteries, in hopes to grow most prosperous.
