The cards are color-coded, so you always know whether you are being charmingly irreverent or begging for a beat-down.

Dirty Deutsch takes about 30 minutes to play, contains 99 full-color playing cards, and rules for play.

You won't see Dirty Deutsch as part of any first year language curriculum, even though swear words are an important part of German language and culture. At the very least, it's good to know what's being said, whether or not you're going to say it yourself.

And there's more to the educational content than just swear words. Dirty Deutsch demonstrates adjective endings, imperatives, some common nouns and pronouns, and static cultural phrases.
