Altar Quest: Base Game

All across the troubled lands of Aridika, altars plague the forgotten places - the dank dungeons, ruined castles, endless caves - and power-hungry villains seek them out in hopes to harness the corrupted magic that emanates from them. While these mysterious stones are commonly believed to be physical manifestations of the god-like entities known as rhunes, they have been twisted and pushed to the surface of the earth by the vile lich queen Szera who sleeps deep beneath Aridika. Heroes have taken it upon themselves to seek out these altars and secure them from the enemies' control. However, the powers once locked within the altars have already escaped into the world, and ancient evils have already begun to stir.

Altar Quest is a cooperative board game for 1-4 players, where players take on the roles of daring heroes embarking on epic quests. With gameplay driven by designers Adam & Brady Sadler's popular Modular Deck System (MDS), Altar Quest offers a unique dungeon crawl experience in which players can choose to modularly combine hero decks, villain decks, threat decks, and quest decks to create their own adventures, or embark on a narrative story to further explore the original fantasy world of Rhuna.

Featuring four distinct heroes to play as, three deadly villains to face off against, three groups of threats to fight, six varied quests to take on, and over 75 highly detailed miniatures, Altar Quest provides a wealth of gameplay options. Players use custom dice to resolve challenging tasks and explore an environment filled with beautifully sculpted terrain pieces, adding a new level of immersion to every game.
