Guardians of the Abyss is a unique 78-card expansion containing 2 linked scenarios.

In The Eternal Slumber, the investigators travel to Cairo to unravel the secrets behind a medical mystery, only to find themselves caught in the web of a deadly plot.

In The Night's Usurper, the investigators must search for a gateway in the desert to a realm beyond their imagination, in order to prevent an ancient prophecy from destroying the Earth.

Each of these scenarios can be played as standalone scenarios, or as side-stories integrated into any campaign.
