Description
Fantahzee: Hordes and Heroes from Ryan Miller and AEG puts you in charge of defending the town from tons of monsters! But you aren’t alone, you’ll be able to recruit warriors, mages, and steam-dwarves. Roll combinations to activate their abilities and bonk the monsters on their heads to earn victory points. Defeat three of the five boss monsters and the other two run home, ending the game. End with the most victory points to win!
The game tells the story of an attack on the town of Devil’s Burden by a horde of monsters. They advance from the Horde Deck towards the town and are opposed by parties of adventurers controlled by each player. The Horde Deck is constructed so that terrifying Boss Monsters will be randomly encountered as the horde advances. When minions and Boss Monsters of the horde are defeated you gain treasures that you can equip on your party to power up!
The game ends when three Boss Monsters have been defeated. The winner is the player who has accumulated the most XP: XP from monsters defeated minus XP from parts of the town destroyed.
